Pastor Zane Springer will be teaching today from 1 Thessalonians 4:  13-18, “People of Hope Becoming People of Destiny?

 

Home Life Groups have started!  Check listing in the bulletin and contact a leader if you’d like to attend.

Men’s Hunting Camp coming up on October 24-25.  Camp is nearly full with only a few slots open.  Sign up today in the foyer, pick up info sheet and put your payment in the envelope.

Operation Christmas Child Shoe boxes Coming Up
Start collecting items to fill a shoe box now. Due to Mary Bearden, 526 N. Walnut Street, by 11/16.  Pick up your empty shoe boxes from the foyer.  See list of suggested items to put in your shoebox and how to pack them.

Halloween Party for the Kids at UMS Keltz Arena, Friday, 10/31, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  We will have our “David & Goliath” booth again this year.  Helpers and bags of wrapped candy needed.

Men’s Breakfast every Thursday  at 6:30 am
All men are welcome to attend for prayer, “Daily Bread,” coffee and bagels.  The first Thursday of the month we serve a full breakfast.

GIVE ‘EM THE BOOT(S) Kids’ Snow Boot Drive  If your child is in need of snow boots, please contact Gunnar Maisch at 925.3368. You may leave a message with your first name, contact number, indicate boy or girl boots, and shoe size. The deadline for ordering is October 25th.  If you would like to donate to the snow boot drive, checks may be made out to VCF (Vineyard Christian Fellowship). Please put “boots” in the memo.  Boots will be distributed to those children in need the first week of November.

Annual Dillon Ministerial Thanksgiving service on 11/20 at 7:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church.  The annual Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day, 11/27, at St. Rose Catholic Church.  More details to follow.

Worship CDs, “Wonderful,” available in the foyer for $10 each.

Opportunities for you to build up our church building fund:  3 needs and goals to reach by June 2015:  sprinkler system, air conditioning for sanctuary and updated exterior Vineyard signs.  See flyers in foyer.
