Operation Christmas Child Shoe boxes
You folks are awesome!  You donated 170 shoeboxes plus shipping costs this year!  Mary Bearden’s will be delivering them on Monday morning, so if you still would like to fill a box, you can drop it off at her home by Sunday at 526 N. Walnut Street (683-2037).  Please make your checks payable to Samaritan’s Purse for the shipping.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day, 11/27, at St. Rose Catholic Church from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.  The pies can be dropped off at St. Rose that morning.  The turkeys are available at the church for those of you who volunteered to roast one.  Drop off times at St. Rose are indicated on each turkey pan.

Let’s Beef Up our Food Pantry!
We frequently get calls from local folks who need food to tide them over and our Food Pantry is very low right now.  Please bring a can or several cans of food (in particular peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, canned soup, canned tuna, pancake syrup) and leave in the food barrel in the foyer.  We also need fresh/frozen wrapped meat.  See flyers in foyer for other needed items.
